How to Make a Facebook Business Page In 5 Easy Steps

(Last Updated On: 25 Aug)

Most people think that creating a Facebook business page is complicated or difficult, but based on my understanding and my own experience, it is not that difficult, actually. With more than 800 million users, Facebook is no longer a site exclusive for social interactions, but it can actually be a promising business platform – if you know how.

How To Create A Facebook Business Page [Simple Tutorial]

Step 1

Open this link to start: you are directed there, you should be able to see 6 main classifications as follows

  1. Local Business or Place
  2. Company, Organization or Institution
  3. Brand or Product
  4. Artist, Band or Public Figure
  5. Entertainment
  6. Cause or Community

After choosing one category, be careful in choosing the name. After all, the name should represent your business. This will be your Facebook business page url.

Step 2

Complete “About” section. Give brief yet clear description about your business . Enter your blog name or site name if you have. Upload picture. The profile picture should have 180 x 180p . Add it to Favorite for easier access. Enter preferred audience if you target a particular group.

Step 3

Now go to Settings, you should see notification, page info, and page roles. Manage them all to create a solid page.

Step 4

Creating contents into your page should be the next critical step. If you want to grow your community, you can consider filling up your page with posts or cover photo, or even both. You can then invite colleagues, supporters, and customers.

That’s it your Facebook business page is ready and you can kick start your business.
